When To Use A Trivela
Knowing how to take a Trivela is only half the battle, as finding yourself in the right positions to use it is not as simple.

Do not force a Trivela as the method to get into position is more beneficial as a reaction to opposing defense.

Your movement needs to be perfect to perform the shot reliably, so use it as a surprise tactic when you are cutting in on a winger strong side (LW for left-footed, RW for right-footed).

The best place to attempt a Trivela is from outside the box using a player with 80-89 shot power.
